Profile of Vice District Governor- I
Lion Lalita R. Khadria MJF born in the renowned Modi family of Dibrugarh to late Ramgopal Modi and late Keshari Devi Modi. She did her school education from Khowang Pithubar Girls High School in Assamese medium. She did her Post Graduation from Dibrugarh University and was ranked as First Class First for which she was awarded Gold Medal from the then Governor of Assam. Just after the completion of her Post Graduation she joined as a Lecturer in Dibrugarh University. Later on she joined Dimapur College in Nagaland. She retired from Nagaland State Government service as an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science in 2013.
She is happily married to Lion Rajendra Khadria MJF an Advocate by Profession who is also an active member of Lions Club of Dimapur since 1976 & Serve the Club & the District in various capacities. She is blessed with three sons. Her eldest son is BE (Hons) & MBA from IIM Ahmadabad, 2nd son is BA (Hons) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, MBA from IIFT, Delhi. Third son is B.Com (Hons) from Sri Ram College of Commerce & MBA from IIM Indore. They are all well settled. She is blessed with 5 grand children.
Lion Lalita R. Khadria is actively associated with many other Social organizations like Mahila Sewa Samiti, Agarwal Mahila Manch and Janajati Vikash Samiti Nagaland. She joined Lions movement as a Charter President of Lioness Club of Dimapur in 1988. She served the Lions District in different capacities as Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, Interregional Co-ordinator and District Chairperson for many years. She thus sincerely contributed towards the cause of Lionism with utmost dedication and devotion. A certified guiding Lion Lalita R. Khadria was unanimously elected as Vice District Governor I in the annual District Conference held at Imphal in 2019. Lion Lalita R. Khadria has many awards and recognition to her credit including 100% president Excellence Award, 2nd best Zone Chairperson, Lion of the Year in the District, best District Chairperson of the District twice, 5 International President Appreciation Certificates and 2 International president Appreciation pins.
She had successfully undergone Regional Lions Leadership Institute at Gopalpur and all India Schooling at Hyderabad and New Delhi. It is during her District Chairmanship of Peace Poster Contest our District was able to bring Laurel not only to our Multiple 322D but to our whole nation India by winning the Grand Prize in the world for the first time.
She is very simple without Pomp and show, but as a leader her determination and dedication is so strong that even after managing both home and work she is able carry the torch of love, kindness and affection to a greater heights.
